Charmed Spirits Edition: Take The Spooky Edge Off With My "Beetlejuice Buzz"...

O.M.G. guyssss!!! To really know me is to know that I've been OBSESSED with Beetlejuice since I was a kid! I was definitely that little kid who would race home after school to watch the classics as most of us millennials did. And Beetlejuice was always on the roster. So, it is no surprise that I was SUPER excited that they FINALLY did a movie where they even brought back some of the original characters. And so, I kicked-off my mini-series titled, "Charmed Spirits" with none other than a tribute to Beetlejuice himself with what I call my "Beetlejuice Buzz" to take the edge off from all the scary movies this spooky season. After-all...I know you’re here for all the BOOOSS!!!! Get it?! Too cheesy?! C'mon...y'all should know me by now, so just roll with it haha!!

"Beetlejuice Buzz" Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

Juices

--4 oz Spicy or Regular Pineapple Juice

Wine, Liquor, & Liqueur

-1.5 oz Vodka

-1 oz Melon Liqueur

Garnish

-Parsley Sprig for the shrimp cocktail portion

-1 Can of Lychees

-A Few Blueberries

-A Few Baby Dill Herbs For Garnish

Directions

Step 1 - Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Step 2 - Add 1.5 oz of vodka, 1 oz of melon liqueur, and 4 oz of spicy pineapple juice.
Step 3 - Shake well until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty.
Step 4 - Garnish with a 2 white lychees stuffed w/blueberries, dill herbs, and serve.

Et voila! Guys (!!!) I think we really captured the essence of the Beetlejuice movie with this cocktail! Andddd, I decided to pair it with this fun shrimp cocktail presentation (as seen in image below) as another ode to the movie’s famous dinner scene.
