Get Lit & Feel Toasty With My "Bonfire Bourbon Cocktail"...

Hey guys!!! So I'm back once again with another blog post for my mini-series, "A Lil Pumpkin Spice Makes Everything Nice,” where I highlight popular themes and ingredients that are synonymous with the autumn season.


Since we've already touched upon pumpkins & apples, I wanted to segue into another fun fall fave, which are bonfires & s'mores! Now, I know that I am still such a novice at this whole bartending thing, but guys I was UBER excited to get on hands on one of these mini-blow torches for a while now so that I can REALLLY show-out with my mixology skills! Read on while I'll show you how I make my "Bonfire Bourbon Cocktail!" Or just watch me make it here!


"Bonfire Bourbon Cocktail"


Ingredients

Wine & Liquor

-2 oz Whiskey Bourbon 


Liqueur & Spices

-1 oz Chocolate Liqueur

-1/2 Capful of Vanilla Extract

-2 oz Pumpkin Spice Syrup

-2 Dashes Orange Bitters


Garnish

-2 Marshmallows

-1 Pack of Graham Crackers

-Ice Cubes (optional)


Directions

  • Step 1 - Coat rim of the glass w/simple syrup & graham crackers 

  • Step 2 - Pour 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey in a shaker

  • Step 3 - Pour 1 oz Chocolate Liqueur in shaker

  • Step 4 - 1/2 Capful of Vanilla Extract in a shaker

  • Step 5 - 2 oz Pumpkin Spice Syrup in a shaker

  • Step 6 - 2 Dashes of Orange Bitters in a shaker

  • Step 7 - Shake..Shake...Shake

  • Step 8 - Pour into whiskey glass

  • Step 9 - Place 2 marshmallows on toothpick & place on top of drink

  • Step 10 - Scorch marshmallows

Now I don’t know about y’all, but I can’t picture fall without a envisioning a nice bonfire, and this drink certainly brings the bonfire to you if ya know what I mean! ;-)



Hmmhmmm Oooooh...(!!!) Guys you'll definitely feel it when this drink hits your soul! Now it’s your turn to light that bonfire inside & out!!!
