A Lil' Bit About Me...
Bonjour! It’s nice to meet you! My name is Stephanie Blanc, the Founder and Senior Event Designer & Planner for Mariage Blanc Designs, an atelier whose sole mission is to curate high-end event design & premium planning services for weddings and an array of other special occasions, in an effort to encourage people to live happier & more beautifully fulfilling lives.
More recently, I have become a Lifestyle Blogger & Content Conoisseur (my fancy way of saying Content Creator haha) Since you’re here, you may already know that I am a lover of all things lavish…Especially, soirées!!! I love entertaining family and friends and often go to great lengths to do so. My birthday is April 21st, so I am a Taurus/Aries cusp baby (leaning more towards Taurean qualities, but I embody traits from both signs) who loves to indulge in the finer things in life (think of fireplace, fur throws, champagne with chocolate covered strawberries...Ya know the whole nine!), and oooh do I have a mean sweet tooth! I am weirdly obsessed with any vampire-related shows or movies (The Originals being my all-time fave!! Still salty about it being over, but at least it's fueled my love of New Orleans even more!!) My favorite food is pizza, and I love to travel, though, I struggle with taking time off cause I am a bit of a workaholic, however, I am a work-in-progress and proud to say making BOLD leaps with regards to this!
So Here's the Tea...
Too often, we get caught up in the hustle & bustle of this thing called...LIFE (cue in Prince’s “Lets Go Crazy").
Don't ya think he said it best?! He definitely had the right idea. I mean...We wake up look in the mirror one day, and say, “Hey, where’d the time go?! Better yet, where did that line on my forehead come from??? Omg...I'm old! (OK so maybe I'm exaggerating my experience juuuust a tad. Definitely, a self-proclaimed millennial moment over here!) But I’m here to remind you to buy those shoes, eat that slice of cake, & throw a party!!!!
Oh yea btw...ALL IN MODERATION of course! Haha!!. 'Cause, when you look back at your life, don't you want your best memories to be more than you behind a desk from 9-5, or running mundane errands, or rushing from one goal to the next thing big thing (without even getting a chance to reallllyyy take it in & celebrate)…? Orrrrrrr do you wanna reminisce on the times when you were laughing and enjoying life with family & friends…? I'm sure it didn't take long for you to answer. I mean, think about it this way...You work hard and who or what do you work hard for?? (Well besides yourself of course haha!!). Maybe it's your kids...your family...or your life dreams in general. Well, whichever it is...Don't ya think you deserve to sprinkle in some celebrations every now and then?
Ok, so I'm gonna get all "millennial-ish" on ya again...But this is important. You need to take care of your mental health! No, not like just "namaste" type mental health. I'm talkin' you and your loved ones deserve to slowwww down and celebrate life to the fullest extent! And you deserve to enjoy the fruits of your labor!
It is in our nature to wanna enjoy the finer things in life. And though, that may be different for everyone...The ONE consistent, underlying theme is CONNECTION! Whether that’s connecting with like-minded individuals, family, friends, a particular hobby, or a special interest…It's allllll about connection, and a special event provides that opportunity to bring that connection full circle.
Now, let’s be clear, I never want to encourage anyone to incur debt all for the sake of throwing an epic bash (well maybe…Nah j/k Haha!!).
And that's why I decided to create this blog (FINALLY!). I’m definitely aware of life’s realities….The bills...family responsibilities...bills...exhaustion...And did I mention bills...?!?? Lol
In my blog, I’ll be sure to share with you, my tips & ideas that anyone can apply to any get-together. Even ones as simple as the Super Bowl. These fun tips will bring that that certain je ne sais quoi to make your party experience a little more enjoyable and memorable.
