Hey guys!!! Look, just because it’s the holiday season doesn’t mean we put Taco Tuesday on ice. As a matter of fact…I say we give it a little holiday makeover.
Cue in: The Holiday Margarita. She’s cute, she’s a little tart, and she’s dressed for the season. Safe, to say I kind-of think this drink is ME in cocktail form haha!!
Picture this: Twinkle lights glowing, the smell of something delicious drifting from the kitchen, and you, yes, YOU shaking up a Christmas Margarita enough to burn off those sugar cookie calories, like the unofficial bartender of holiday magic that you are!
This drink tastes like the moment right after you finish wrapping gifts and finally sit down. It’s crisp, bright, and just the right amount of “I survived the mall parking lot,” cause GIRL!
The cranberry adds holiday flair, the citrus keeps it lively, and together they make a margarita that feels like a tiny celebration…Even if the only thing you’re celebrating is getting through work & traffic in one peace! 'Cause HEY, that's definitely something worth celebrating for sure! So keep your tacos spicy, your margaritas spicier, and your holidays merry. 'Cause THAT?! THAT’S a sip of sleigh-bell-worthy satisfaction. Perfect with your tacos, tamales, tostones, or any Mexican takeout night.

"Feliz Mar-GAR-ita"
Ingredients
-2 oz Tequila (Blanco or Silver recommended)
-2 oz Cranberry juice (unsweetened, if possible)
-1/2 oz Orange liqueur (Triple Sec, Cointreau, or Grand Marnier)
-1/2 oz Fresh lime juice
-1/2 oz simple syrup (Optional: Adjust to taste based on juice sweetness)
-Garnish: Fresh cranberries, a lime wedge, and a sprig of rosemary
Rim & Garnish
-Fresh cranberries, a lime wedge, and a sprig of rosemary
For the Rim: Tamarindo & crushed candy cane or sugar or salt (optional).
Directions
Step 1 - Rub the rim of a rocks glass with tamarindo, then dip it in crushed peppermint. Fill the glass with (Totally Optional: Finely crushed candy canes; Medium Crystal Sugar Rimmer; or Medium Crystal Salt Rimmer works best for this to come together nicely).
Step 2 - In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, cranberry juice, orange liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup (optional).
Step 3 - Fill the shaker with ice and shake for about 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
Step 4 - Strain the mixture into your prepared glass over fresh ice cubes.
Step 5 - Garnish with a few fresh cranberries, a lime wedge, and a sprig of rosemary.
