Welcome back to another blog post from my annual “Making Spirits Bright” blog-series, aka your holiday headquarters for tips, tricks, recipes, & host hacks that make this season shine without the stress! Today, I’m showing you how to make a holiday recipe that’s honestly kind-of flashy, BUT in a VERY GOOD way.

Woman in a cozy kitchen, smiling while baking. Festive decorations, cookies, and ingredients on the counter. Warm, joyful atmosphere.

We’re making a strawberry and pistachio bread wreath that looks like it came straight from a boutique bakery, tastes amazing, and comes together way more easily than you'd think. It's giving 'I baked all day,' but we’re keeping it light, low-lift, and no more than 35 minutes to i the kitchen. Let’s get it!"

For this beauty, you’ll need the below listed ingredients & to follow my below recipe:

"Strawberry Pistachio Bread Wreath"

Golden pastry on a silver tray under a jeweled glass cover, surrounded by Christmas decor and strawberries, evoking a festive mood.

Ingredients

-1 Quart Eggnog

-1 Liter Club Soda

-1/2 gallon Vanilla Ice Cream or Coconut Sherbet

-2 Cups of Coconut Flakes

Garnish

--2 Cups of Coconut Flakes -- Crushed Peppermint

Directions

  • Step 1 -  Start by rolling out your pie dough.

  • Step 2 -  Spread a generous layer of chilled strawberry puree over the surface, then sprinkle on your chopped pistachios.

  • Step 3 -  Now here comes the fun part...You’re going to roll it up like a cinnamon roll, slice it down the middle lengthwise, & then twist the two pieces around each other and shape it into a wreath.

  • Step 4 - Now, it doesn’t have to be perfect cause it’ll bake into something stunningly, gorgeous.

  • Step 5 - Pop it into the oven at 350°F for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and it has your kitchen smelling like holiday heaven.

Once it’s cooled just slightly, drizzle on that glaze, maybe a little extra powdered sugar for extra razzle dazzle, and honestly… tell me this doesn’t look like you put in some work.

And just like that in a finger-sap, we’ve turned a few simple ingredients into something that looks like it came straight out of a holiday bakery window.

If you loved this, save it, share it, and tag me when you try it because I love seeing your creations!

Until next time, keep things merry, bright, and deliciously, easy. Cheers to sleighing your holiday!
