Hey guys!!! So I don't know about you, but I'm definitely guilty of falling into the trap of stopping by the coffee shop one too many times. And the irony isss...I'm not even a coffee drinker (!!!) I’m HYPER sensitive to too much caffeine intake & often feel as though I'm experiencing panic attacks after just 1 small iced cappuccino. But that still doesn’t stop me from treating myself to the occasional caramel macchiato. And so, needless to say, my wallet be looking at me sideways, along with my whole entire nervous system! So what does this gal go ahead and do??? I go and purchase this bougie coffee machine of course!! And, yes, even though I really shouldn't be drinking coffee like that...I thought buying this would encourage me to take more of an initiative of making my own at home when I’m craving a little pick-me-up instead of spending my coins. But of course (!!!), it's been sitting on my counter for years collecting dust. And so, I thought that NOW was the perfect time MORE.THAN.EVER. to GET.MYSELF.ALL.THE.WAY.TOGETHER, and channel my inner barista. Read on while I show you how to make a delicious & SUPER easy-to-make "Pumpkin-Spiced Iced Latte," so that you can make it in the comfort of your own home, and save some coins in the process. Andddd I'm going to be paring it with a little something extra special too! I'll be showing you a SUPER SIMPLE host hack for what I call my "Pumpkin Patch Pound Cake" that requires ZERO baking and very minimal effort, but your guests don't need to know allathat!! Crowned hostess with the mostess with very little exertion?!?!...COUNT.ME.IN! Let’s get it!!
"Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte"
Ingredients
-1 Tbsp of Pumpkin Flavored Syrup
-Few Dashes of Pumpkin Pie Spice
-Capful of Vanilla Extract
-2 Shots of Espresso
-1 Cup of Preferred Milk
-1-2 Cinnamon Sticks
-Ice Cubes
Garnish
--Whipped Cream
Directions (Based on my Casabrews 3700Pro Espresso Coffee Maker)
Step 1 - Coat rim of the glass w/marshmallow fluff and roll rim of glass in crushed graham crackers
Step 2 - Press the latte button twice & wait 45 sec
Step 3 - Add 1 tbsp of Pumpkin Flavored Syrup & stir
Step 4 - Pour into ice-filled coffee glass
Step 5 - Top with whipped cream
Step 6 - Add a few dashes of pumpkin pie spice
Step 7 - Add 1-2 cinnamon sticks along w/my pumpkin candy on top
Now let’s segue to the next masterpiece! All you need is: a store bought pound cake (I like to get mine from Shoprite) & for this I got an orange flavored cake to keep on par with our pumpkin color scheme, a bag of small clementines, & a stack of thyme that will act as the “pumpkin stems.” You’re going to place however many clementines as you like on the cake; You can even stack them if they are varied in size to make it appear like a stack of pumpkins. And you’re going to utilize the toothpicks to hold the clementines in place. I quickly repurposed some orange marmalade & chef’d up a orange flavored syrup, which I easily made by cooking up some orange marmalade on low-reduced heat. Simply pour it over the cake & clementines et VOILA! A quick, easy, & scrumptious pastry to pair with your iced latte. Who says you need to go to the coffee shop when you have your own at home...?
Hmmmhmm, DELICIOUSSS!!!
You see that was super easy and right in the comfort of your own kitchen!! Welcome the fall season & channel your inner barista by trying out this recipe. Cheers!!!
