So, if you follow Vogue's popular guerilla-style Q&A interviews, which feature some of Hollywood's most notable celebrities, then you probably noticed that their interviews are always comprised of 73 questions...Buttttt ya girl's pressed for time, and I am doing this blog post in honor of my birthday month where I'm turning 37, so it seemed quite fitting that I inverted the numbers. Plus, I'm definitely NO celebrity (so we can certainly switch things up a bit eh?), and I can't give y'all alllll my tea at once! I'm more of a slow-burn type gyal, so you're gonna have to get to know me bit-by-bit haha.
So without further ado (!!!), here are my answers to some of the most random questions that I could find on the internet. I hope you enjoy getting to know me and my quirky-self behind the scenes, and that I am able to make you chuckle in the process. Who knows, we might even find some commonality between us regarding some quirks!

37 RANDOM "VOGUE STYLE" QUESTIONS
What’s one thing people don’t know about you? Stephanie: That my name was originally suppose to be Genevieve. Last minute, I was named after Princess Stephanie.
What's the best advice you ever received? Stephanie: To never take advice from anyone you wouldn't want to trade places with.
What's your favorite time of day? Stephanie: Nighttime; I'm pretty nocturnal, and have always been a night owl since I was a kid. There is just something about the still, peace of the night that makes me feel the most alive with the sudden urge to bounce off the walls & create.
What's your favorite cuisine? Stephanie: Southern Soul Food w/a Caribbean twist.
What was your nickname growing up? Stephanie: It was and still is, Nini; Most of my family still calls me that; Steph is what is mostly used by everybody else.
What’s one ingredient you put in everything? Stephanie: Garlic powder, it's a MUST!
What 3 people living or dead would you like to have dinner with? Stephanie: Jesus, Harriet Tubman, & Lucille Ball.
Window or aisle seat? Stephanie: It'll always be the window seat for me.
Secret talent? Stephanie: I can flip my eyelids inside out; It's kinda creepy hehe.
Most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life? Stephanie: Definitely starting my own business & honorable mention goes to riding a helicopter with no doors (I still can't believe I did that & paid for it nonetheless haha).
How would you define yourself in three words? Stephanie: Sagacious, Personable, & Generous
Fave perfume? Stephanie: Currently, Jean Paul Gaultier's La Belle. I'm, literally, OBSESSED, and everywhere you go, everyone will stop you to ask what you're wearing because you smell sooo good!
Super power if you could have one? Stephanie: Teleporting; Any sign of a nuisance...I'm chucking DEUCES, and I'm out!
Best advice you’d give your teenage self? Stephanie: Don’t take everything too seriously, and life does somehow get better, but you gotta buckle up tight before it does!
How do you define beauty? Stephanie: I think it's how you carry yourself...Your overall character & cadence...The level of confidence you exude & the positive energy you radiate; I think it goes way deeper than physicality.
What do you love most about your body? Stephanie: I've always struggled with this...But now, I can honestly say my curves on a good day. It took me a a long while to get to this point of fully appreciating them though. I was always a skinny little kid who didn't eat much & then puberty hit and changed everything for me (including my appetite haha).
Best way to take a rest and/or decompress? Stephanie: Taking a nap haha!! #iykyk; Naps are LIFE & I am a sleepy girl living in a busy world.
Favorite place to view art? Stephanie: Literally, everywhere! I honestly prefer going rogue and walking around the city to consume different types of art, art installations, & culture; But I do also appreciate a good museum exhibit every now & then too! My favorite museum being the MET.
Guilty pleasure? Stephanie: Baked goodies (i.e. brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc.)
What’s your spirit animal? Stephanie: Tiger, any fierce feline really...
Diamonds or pearls? Stephanie: Diamonds are a girl's best friend, and my birthstone :-)
Drugstore makeup or designer? Stephanie: I enjoy both, but designer for the win!
You are stuck on an island, you can pick one food to eat forever without getting tired of it, what would you eat? Stephanie: Probably, pizza.
A skill you’re working on mastering? Stephanie: To stop being the Queen of Procrastination
Favorite movie in the past five years? Stephanie: Too many to name, but my most recent favorite was Top Gun: Maverick.
A book that you read in school that had a major impact on shaping who you are? Stephanie: "A Child Called It" by Dave Pelzer; & "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe
Favorite TV show that’s currently on? Stephanie: I don't really watch TV like that. So I don't even know what's "currently on." Butttt, my last favorite series that I religiously watched was The Originals (I thought and still think the acting...script...and characters were brilliant; I'm still extremely salty it ended, and I can't get into their spinoff series-If you didn't know, I am lowkey obsessed with most vampire-themed shows, and that is what The Originals was. Once again, that show was BRILLIANT (if you like vampire, action, drama, & romance all-in-one, then check it out). OH(!!!) and Law & Order (SVU & Criminal Intent) will always be a classic fave as well!

What’s your favorite flower? Stephanie: Calla Lily
What is your least favorite thing about yourself? Stephanie: Woo chile, something that immediately comes to mind is that I am the Queen of Procrastination. I wish I was better with that, but ironically, I kinda do work well under pressure, so it's a gift & a curse (shrugs shoulders).
What is your most favorite thing about yourself? Stephanie: That when I put my mind to a specific goal, I am relentless in seeing it through.
Favorite season? Stephanie: Summer

The small things in life that make you happy? Stephanie: This is gonna sound super cheesy, but I am a total sucker for a gorgeous sunset or full moon. I enjoy strolls in the park...Long walks on the beach; Just beautiful scenic weather in general. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic haha. Oooh!! I also love when I get all green lights and finding parking right in front of the store! It's truly the little things that equate to life's simple pleasures for me :-).
Would you say you're more of an introvert or extrovert? Stephanie: Definitely, more of an introvert. Though most people who know me well, would argue that I'm an extrovert or ambivert (Whispers...I'm really an introvert though and totally have them fooled haha).
Do you collect anything? Stephanie: I collect magnets anytime I travel, and put them on my fridge. It's my own little mini tradition I started years ago cause magnets are essentially pretty cheap and it's a cute way to remind me of my travels.
*Bonus Question: Ideally, how would you spend your birthday?
Stephanie: Sleeping in w/no alarm set...Breakfast in bed...Get a workout session in...Straight CHILLEN...Mani/Pedi...And maybe a day trip of some kind to somewhere fun...Finish off with dinner at a nice restaurant or my Ma making 1 of my favorite dishes haha.
